He lived and lived like a king

He lived and lived like a king- On his terms! The day he felt he was not being treated properly and thought they were being unfair to him and also knowing it was not worth fighting the bunch of politicians conspiring against him, he decided to walk away. He took a decision that most of us regret but honestly I don't. I think of it sometimes and feel bad that he isn't playing for India anymore but on the other hand I feel that was the best decision considering the situation. Sourav Ganguly (DaDa) chose his own path and decided that enough is enough and that he will not bear any non-sense. He is perhaps one of the only cricketers to have retired when he was at his peak and when people said, "Why are you retiring", instead of "When will you retire".

You may wonder why he had so many enemies in the BCCI. That's because when he was captain, he fought for selection of certain players like Harbhajan, Sehwag, Yuvraj and pushed for bringing in Dhoni when selectors preferred Dinesh Karthik and in the process went against selectors' wish. He was also sandwiched between Sharad Powar and Jagmohan Dalmiya for no fault of his. Yes, he made enemies while doing his best for India and in return had to bear the consequences all by himself and none of his players could do anything for him. Sehwag once said when Dada was dropped in 2006- "Ganguly is the best captain I have played under and I miss his presence and hoping Dada would make a comeback into the national team." After this, the BCCI warned Sehwag that he should mind his own business and not speak too much in the media. Harbhajan also showed his support many a times and these 2 are truly Dada's boys! Cheers to them..

There are many more stories that we will keep coming u

GO TO MUMBAI MORE NOISEWHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO JAIPUR MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO KOLKATA MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO DELHI MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO CHENNAI MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO MOHALI MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO HYDERABAD,CUTTA CK,VIZAG MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED

GO TO PUNE MORE NOISE WHEN DADA IS INTRODUCED...

WHAT IT MEANS IS THAT THERE IS MORE SUPPORT FOR DADA THAN DRAVID,
SACHIN, VIRU, GAUTI BOTH HOME & AWAY...
WHICH MEANS:
NO DADA NO IPL!!!!!
dedicated to all dada haters and those who are jealous of him..

let the world know who the greatest captain is.....

This is for those of you who have forgotten/ignored Dada's
contribution to Indian Cricket. This stat clearly proves he was
instrumental in the growth of Indian cricket and brought about the much needed change after the match-fixing saga.
Imran Khan once said- "If you need to collect Rs.100, the first Rs.75 are the most difficult to collect. After that the Rs.25 will quickly follow.." Dada laid a perfect foundation for his successors and left Indian cricket on a high.. Unfortunately, he wasn't part of Indian cricket in it's best times but surely, he must be a happy man at heart that his contributions went on and made it big.

WASTE TO ENERGY- Learn how to reduce your energy bill

At a time when the energy prices (petrol, LPG etc), are skyrocketing,
there is a cheaper and an ecofriendly alternative. The tons and tons
of wet waste which we produce in our kitchens can be converted into
cooking gas, electricity etc.  According to the Ministry of New and
Renewable Energy (MNRE), there exists a potential of about 1700 MW
from Urban waste (1500 from MSW and 225 MW from sewage) and about 1300
MW from industrial waste. The ministry is also actively promoting the
generation of energy from waste, by providing subsidies and incentives
for the projects.

The attached PowerPoint Presentation may be used to bring awareness on
this issue to the housing societies, schools/college students, NGOs,
Church groups and so on.

Read the attachment and forward it to your contacts.

Beware of Mobile companies

Dear All

This message is to warn all mobile customers about the dubious means
the companies adopt to fleece money from the customers. The incident
quoted is regarding Reliancecommunicationsand I feel that they may not
be alone in adopting such tactics to steal our hard earned money.

I got a reliance mobile recharged in the first week of the month. A
few days later an SMS came that a caller tune has been downloaded for
which there would be charges. After a day got another message that an
English music has been downloaded for which another Rs 15 has been
charged. On the third day yet another message came that CRBT services
haven been subscribed for which the monthly subscription is Rs.30.( I
do not know what is CRBT). As I have not asked for any of these
downloads/services, I spoke to their customer service and asked for an
explanation. The person sitting there was evasive and gave the reply
that I might have accidently pressed some button to download these
things. When I shouted back at him that no person in senses can press
the download button, if such a one exists, three times in three
consecutive days accidently and that I would complaint to TRAI, he
disconnected the telephone saying something inaudible, probably some
abusive words. Then I took up the matter with the customer relations
through emails, and after exchange of mails two-three times, they were
"kind enough" to wave all the money recovered from me for these
unsolicited value added services and regretted the inconvenience
caused to me; but were not all apologetic fordeductingthe money
unauthorisedly and also gave no assurance that they would not resort
to such acts in future.

Since now nearly 90% of the population in our country including
illiterates and semi-literate persons, are mobile subscribers now, the
volume of money the mobile companies (presuming that other companies
too resort to such unfair practices) take from the poor customers
through such dubious means can be well imagined. I have sent a
specific complaint to TRAI in this regard and I do not know whether
they will take any action against the company. In the meantime I would
like to warn the public about such unfair means being adopted by
Reliance Communications to extract money from us.

Thomas Mathew
